About me

Clare Sophie Delamere

I am an English mother living in Germany and the mother of two sons, both born here – one at home and one in a birthing house. These births deeply shaped me.

The support I received during labour allowed me to experience birth as something positive, powerful and even magical, without medical intervention. I felt safe, accepted and truly cared for. That experience stayed with me

It inspired me to become a doula.

I believe that the quality of support during birth can make a profound difference. When a woman feels held, respected and listened to, birth can become an empowering and life-changing experience.

All mothers deserve the chance to experience birth in this way.
